One line
Phluxel is a pixel art editor where the simulation runs on your artwork itself — paint a campfire,
and the fire rule reads the actual pixels you painted.
Short (about 50 words)
Phluxel is a Windows pixel art editor, image converter and animation studio in one. Its cellular-automata
engine simulates directly on your artwork — every R/G/B/A channel is the simulation state, with no
separate effect layer. Write a one-line rule, watch it run on the GPU, and export a seamless loop.
Long (about 120 words)
Phluxel is a creative tool for Windows that sits between a pixel art editor and a simulation sandbox.
Most of it needs no code at all: draw with pens, fills, shapes, a magic wand and symmetry; convert an
illustration into pixel art with a Lospec palette; batch-convert images; or export a sprite sheet.
What makes it unusual is the rule engine. Instead of layering an effect on top of your picture, Phluxel
treats the picture as the simulation state — a fire rule reads the orange pixels you painted, and a
snow rule falls over your art without erasing it. Rules are short, readable lines in the Phlux language,
compiled to GLSL and run live on the GPU. Export as GIF, PNG sequence, APNG, MP4 or a sprite sheet.

Please don't stretch, recolour or add a tagline to the mark. On dark backgrounds use it as-is; on light backgrounds the horizontal lockup reads best.
Email help@phluxel.com with a link to your channel, publication or portfolio and we'll send a Steam key — no coverage obligation, and no strings if it isn't for you. Running a giveaway for your audience? Say so and we'll include extra keys.
Ask for it — specific screenshots, a different trailer cut, a longer description, a quote, or an interview. We're a one-person studio, so you'll hear back from the person who made it.
